Desperation in the DRC

War in the 1990s and early 2000s cost the lives of 4 or 5 million Congolese.  People continue to live desperately or die cruelly as a result of unrest in the East especially.  Below is a link to a recent independent report from Congo's mining region.  It gives good insight into the reason why the work of World Hope, and the Fish for Hope project specifically, is so important to the people of Congo.
