Mozambique Update

During a conference in Kentucky, June 2-6, I was able to meet briefly with Philippe Macaringue, President of Xai-Xai Bible College in Mozambique. It is at this school that we constructed the fish tanks last year.

President Macaringue has good ideas for moving forward with further support of the aquaculture project, including formal training of a couple of farm workers. This could be done in Maputo, three to four hours' drive away, and we still have some cash in the fund to accomplish this. There are many other ideas, such as expansion of the tank system, purchase of higher quality starter fish, and ducks for integration with the fish tanks. Onward and upward.
